JAMMU, Apr 23: Activists of Dogra Front and Shiv Sena under the leadership of their president, Ashok Gupta staged a protest demonstration against PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti and condemned her statement.
Addressing protesters, Gupta said that Kashmir based politicians sing the song of Pakistan when they are out of power but swear India when in power.
Shiv Sena leader informed that Mehbooba Mufti at a PDP workers’ meet in Pahalgam had cried and said that her party joined hands with BJP for the good of Kashmir.
Gupta further said that Mehbooba always uses her tears to befool public and for her this quality she has been termed as ‘Rudaali’ (professional mourner) by the people.
“Mehbooba has publicly cried many times in the past too, but never during her tenure as Chief Minister,” Shiv Sena leader said.
The protesters also torched the effigy of Mehbooba against her pro-nuclear bomb Pakistan statement.
“How can a Lok Sabha candidate raise pro-Pakistan slogans,” Gupta said demanding cancellation of Mehbooba’s candidature.
Prominent among protesters were Nikku, Naresh, Raju, Bantu, Kalu, Raj Kumar, Abhishek and others.
