Shiv Sena opens ‘Grievances and Support Centre’

JAMMU, Nov 22: To address the issues being faced by common masses, Shiv Sena Bala Saheb Thackeray J&K unit today opened its first ‘Grievances and Support Centre’ here which is first of its kind in the Union Territory.
The centre was inaugurated by Manish Sahni, Shiv Sena J&K president along with Women Wing president, Meenakshi Chibber.
Talking to reporters, Sahni said Shiv Sena’s ‘Grievances and Support Center’ will be opened in every Tehsil of J&K as directed by party high command and national secretary and Rajya Sabha Member, Anil Desai.
He also said: “Common issues of public are being ignored due to which the public is facing problems.”
The Shiv Sena leader claimed that on very first day of opening the Support Center, about two dozen complaints including medical, water, road, corruption etc have been registered.
“In order to resolve these issues Shiv Sena leaders have been instructed to contact the authorities concerned and provide all possible help to needy people,” he maintained adding that if any government official adopted lackadaisical attitude in resolving people’s issue then these complaints shall be taken up with the Lt Governor and his Advisor and necessary action will be sought against the erring officers.
Sahni assured the public that the names of complainants shall be kept secret and claimed that erstwhile J&K State topped among the corrupt States across the country so there is dire need to initiate necessary step against corrupt elements.
He released 7006395206 and 9149590523 mobile numbers for filing complaints.
Those who were present on the occasion were general secretary, Vikas Bakshi; working president, Ashwani Gupta; vice president, Sofia Sagu; secretary, Raj Singh; joint secretary, Raju Salaria, Bhuri Singh, Bhangu Ram, Pawan Singh, Shivan Partap and Ravi Thakur.
