Shiv Sena demands concrete policy to tackle unemployment

JAMMU, Sept 4: In a protest demonstration here today activists of Shiv Sena Bala Saheb Thackeray expressed resentment against the Government for not having any concrete policy to curb unemployment problem in the Union Territory.
The protest was led by J&K Shiv Sena president, Manish Sahni who quoted the PM, Modi to say that even selling Pakora is an employment.
“On the same lines J&K Government has launched New Excise Policy to encourage the youth to sell alcohol to tackle unemployment in J&K,” he said adding that unemployment problem cannot be solved by selling liquor or Pakora but the Government should have a concrete policy for that.
Sahni claimed that under new Excise Policy there is provision of Rs. 2 lakh exemption on opening liquor bars to the unemployed youth.
He said instead of reducing and discounting alcohol prices the Government should formulate a policy for the educated unemployed youth who are in search of jobs.
The Shiv Sena leader also said that the Government should immediately fill all the vacant posts in various departments.
Shiv Sena Women Wing president, Meenakshi Chhibber; Working President, Ashwani Gupta; General Secretary, Vikas Bakshi; Vice President, Harsh Gupta, Sofia Sagu, Raj Singh, Raju Salaria, Manju Ram, Sanjeev Soodan, Geeta Rani, Laba Ram and Dimple were also present in the protest.
