Shiv Sena candidate seeks public mandate

JAMMU, Apr 8: To seek public mandate, Shiv Sena Bala Sahab Thackrey candidate for Lok Sabha (LS) elections, Manish Sahni here today toured Akhnoor, Sunderbani, Nowshera, Rajouri and Poonch areas.
During the tour, Sahni along with Shiv Sena State president, Dimpy Kohli raised serious questions about working of all the Governments that remained in power. Speaking on the occasion Sahni promised railway track from Jammu to Poonch connecting all the major towns in between and plying of DMU for locals stations as is there in Kashmir.
He expressed disappointment over the step-motherly treatment being given to Jammu province as far as development is concerned.
Sahni also said that Jammu should be developed as smart province rather that a small city.
He further said that his party has kept these points in their manifesto and will surely deliver if voted to power.
On this occasion Harsh Kumar Gupta, Surjeet Singh, Romesh Koul, Romesh Gupta, Pankaj Sahni, Vikas Dewan, Raj Singh, Raju Chowdary, Vikas Bakshi, S.S Manhas, Ganesh Lal, Raju Salaria, Pawan Singh, Mangu Ram, Balwant Singh, Sikender Singh, Ganesh Lal and others were also present.
