Shinde meets J&K children

NEW DELHI, Oct 4:
“I boarded an airplane when I was 30-year-old but you are very lucky to do so at this very young age,” Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde told a group of youngsters from Jammu and Kashmir who met him today.
Forty children from far-flung areas of Jammu region of the State were brought to the national capital as part of a ‘Bharat Darshan’ tour organised by BSF.
Shinde also asked the children that they should narrate their experiences and the rich culture of the country that they have seen during their excursion to their friends back home.
The children in the age group of 10-16 years were taken to cities like Ahmedabad, Bhuj, Bangalore, Mysore and Agra and had also boarded an aircraft during the voyage, which they recounted to the Home Minister.
Shinde also gave the children mementos. (PTI)
