JAMMU, May 8: Convener Swaach Bharat Abhiyan J&K UT, Ravinder Kotwal appealed to UT Lt. Governor to make the quarantine centers away from the populated areas, particularly in green zones of Doda, Bhadarwah and Kishtwar.
In a statement issued here, today he said quarantine centers in green zone areas may affect the people in case any positive case is found in the quarantine centers in these green zones. He demanded that quarantine centers in these green zones be shifted to other places from municipal areas.
Meanwhile, BJP State Executive member, Basant Raj Thakur and BJYM spokesman, Sanjay Parihar have demanded lifting of stranded people of Kishtwar from Jammu to their respective areas as they are facing many hardships here and have run shortage of money. The two leaders have made an appeal to Lt Governor, Divisional Commissioner Jammu and Deputy Commissioner, Jammu in this regard.
