AKHNOOR, Dec 19: Shem-rock Apple Orchid Akhnoor celebrated its 4th Annual Sports Day in its premises with great zeal and fervour here today.
Vikas Gupta, General Secretary Judo Association of J&K was the chief guest on the occasion, whereas Shilpa Mahajan Principal & Director of Shemrock Apple Orchid was the guest of honour.
The events and the function was organized under the supervision of Manish Chatwal.
School Principal Shilpa Mahajan presented welcome address and highlighted the importance of games and sports in the life of students.
The celebration began with a March Past of the classes. About 250 students from different classes participated in various events during the day.
Students participated in various races like bunny race, mask race, box race, throw in a tub race, bottle filling race, sac race etc.
The winners were awarded with gold, silver and bronze medals by the chief guest.
Chairman of the school, Summet Sharma presented vote of thanks.
