THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, Dec 29: Congress leader Dr Shashi Tharoor has echoed the view of former party president Rahul Gandhi on ‘Hinduism and Hindutva’ on his social media account on Wednesday.
After the scathing attack on the BJP and the RSS by Rahul on Tuesday that those who bow before the wrong decisions of PM Narendra Modi are the ones who follow Hindutva, Dr Shashi Tharoor shared his old tweet on the matter reminding that the issues are still relevant. Shashi Tharoor representing the Thiruvananthapuram Lok Sabha seat tweeted that “two years ago. Still relevant! @RahulGandhi @INCIndia.”
“An interesting, though incomplete, comparative table doing the rounds. #HinduismVsHindutva https://t.co/WiDxKx0JZU,” Tharoor tweeted. Earlier, while attending a party function in Jaipur, Mr Gandhi said that those who face challenges head on are Hindus. Criticising Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP and RSS, the Wayanad Lok Sabha MP said those who run away from problems are those who follow Hindutva. (UNI)
