POONCH, Dec 29: LoC Balnoi T-20 Cricket tournament, organized by Army for the youth living in the areas affected by the shelling of Pakistan, concluded at Kalidhar Cricket Ground Sagra, Mendhar, here today.
The tournament was organized under the aegis of Krishna Ghati Brigade to commemorate India’s victory in the Indo-Pak War of 1971.
The aim of the tournament was to encourage local talent and boost sports activities among the youth which commenced on December 16 wherein a total of eight teams of Poonch district participated. The final match was played today between Brother Star Ghani and Mankote Rising Star which was won by Rising Star Mankote.
Renowned National Divyang cricketers from Poonch, Sayed Shah, Niyaz Ahmed and Parvaiz Ahmed were the special guests apart from other prominent personalities from civil and defence organizations.
