JAMMU, Apr 21: Members of Jammu Adhikar Morcha have unanimously elected Shashi Kant Khajuria as the Convener and authorized him to constitute executive body of the organization.
Khajuria was appointed head of the Adhikar Morcha during a general body meeting, which was held here today and attended by people from all walks of life, including several intellectuals, writers, artists and advocates.
On the occasion, the general body adopted a resolution to launch a vigorous awareness campaign among masses on the issues confronting Jammu region.
Shashi Kant Khajuria announced that network of Jammu Adhikar Morcha would be expanded at village level to mobile the masses and the organization would leave no stone unturned to highlight the issues and demands of Jammu region.
