JAMMU, June 7: Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer S K Sharma has taken over as Joint Commissioner of Income Tax, Range Srinagar and Jammu.
He was recently transferred from Uttar Pradesh to Jammu and Kashmir by the Central Board of Direct Taxes.
Mr Sharma had earlier served the Income Tax Department in Jammu and Kashmir as Deputy Commissioner. Upon his promotion as Joint Commissioner he was transferred to Punjab and subsequently to Uttar Pradesh where he held several important assignments.
