JAMMU, July 22: The three days Sharika Jayanti (Har Ashtami/Navmi) celebrated here at Mata Shree Shree Jagat Ambay Chakreshwari Sanastha, Paloura Doke, concluded.
The programme lasted for two nights and three days right from Har Saptami evening.
Pushpanjali of Bhawani Sahastrinama was arranged under the supervision of GL Koul, ex-President and Jai Krishen Khar, Vedic Guru for the betterment of Pandit community, for world peace and also other life long members of the Sanastha.
Bhajan, kirtan and recitation of Panchastavi with religious discourse were presented by the renowned personalities.
The temple premises was illuminated and decorated in a manner suited to the occasion.
The Jayanti concluded with traditional distribution of Prasad, followed by bhandara.
Meanwhile, Sharika Jayanti was celebrated at Sharika Peeth Sanstha, Subash Nagar here with religious fervor and gaiety.
A large number of devotees participated in the Samohik Pooja Archana on the occasion. The president of the Sanastha, M K Jalali prayed for well being of all and extended his greetings to all on this auspicious day.
The prashad was served to devotees after Samohik Pooja and archana.
