JAMMU, June 23: In the public grievances camp at BJP Headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, here, Sham Lal Sharma, J&K BJP vice-president and former Minister accompanied by Arvind Gupta, coordinator Grievance Committee and secretary BJP and Rekha Mahajan, secretary BJP listened to the numerous issues represented by the public.
Many people and deputations from various areas visited BJP Headquarter to present their concerns regarding various issues comprising development, administrative and personal issues.
Main issues represented by the individuals and the deputations related to the electricity, water supply, road connectivity, CAPD etc.
Sham Lal Sharma listened to their issues and telephonically talked to the concerned departmental officials and issued letters for the others.
Speaking on the occasion, Sham Sharma said that the BJP has opened up a door for the common masses to present their issues which otherwise remained unattended due to the cumbersome official procedures. He boasted of the success of these camps owing to the great participation of the masses in these camps.
Senior BJP leader and party spokesman, Y V Sharma paid glowing tributes to Dr Mookherjee and said he died under mysterious circumstances as a prisoner of Sheikh Mohammed Abdullah Government the then Prime Minister of J&K State on this day in 1953.
Terming Dr Mookherjee a visionary leader he said this great leader had the foresight to understand the complexities that would arise for the country in future because of providing semi autonomous status to the J&K through Article 370 of the Indian Constitution.
