AKHNOOR, Dec 7: Minister for PHE, I&FC and Congress candidate from Akhnoor Sham Lal Sharma has asked the people to remain vigilant from the sinister designs of BJP.
Addressing several election meetings at Sumah and Ghai, Mr Sharma cautioned the people to be vigilant from the sinister designs of BJP. He alleged BJP first hijacked Hurriyat Conference and NC agendas and now it stood exposed to the people. They appealed the separatist leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani to joint mainstream and sought support and vote to fulfill dream of grabbing power in J&K State.
Mr Sharma said “Why BJP heart is beating for Geelani ?” whose six decades old political agenda was to follow and demand of Azadi at the instance of their political mentors in Pakistan. They hardly spare any opportunity to miss anti- Indian outbursts to defame India and security forces. He questioned the political morality of BJP and said their leadership has raised doubts and suspicion in the minds of both Kashmir masses by participating in democratic process ignored Separatist’s call for poll boycott and in particular Jammu people.
The Congress leader flayed BJP for its double standard which stand exposed before the people. The party has taken U-turn on Article 370. He said that Jammu voters, educated youth, intellects and social organizations should take serious note of BJP’s U-turns on all issues and share the political significance of ongoing assembly elections. He appealed people of Akhnoor to vote for Congress.
