Shabir smells conspiracy for ouster, says will come clean

RAJOURI, Mar 6: Former Congress Minister and MLA Rajouri Shabir Ahmed Khan has said that he fell victim to the deep rooted conspiracy for his ouster from the Ministry and would come clean shortly.
Addressing a large public rally at local sports stadium here today, Mr Khan said during his time of crisis recently, he had great support from his people who sent him to the Legislature. He extended his gratitude to them and said that his people are the great support to him and he would always like to remain their `servant’. Mr Khan expressed his resolve to work with the same zeal and dedication for his constituency and maintained that due to this set back to him by some vested interests, the pace of development of his area also got affected.
While referring to the incident of Srinagar, for which he had to tender resignation, Mr Khan claimed that he was innocent and would come clean. He pointed out that some vested interests played mischief but he would again bounce back with more power with the active support of  his people from Rajouri. He also appealed the people of his area  to strengthen Congress Party and ensure victory of Congress candidate in the coming Lok Sabha elections.
On his way to Rajouri Mr Khan was accorded rousing welcome by the people at Narian, Chingus  and Kallar. The people garlanded him profusely and accorded warm reception. A large number of vehicles escorted him to Rajouri rally ground from Chingus. The party men also carried  him up on their shoulders up to the venue as he boarded off the vehicle.
The local MLA also congratulated the people from Rajouri and Poonch for getting Medical College for which he made personal efforts and sad that the Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad was kind enough to announce College during his Jammu visit. Besides this, he got 675 Health Sub Centres sanctioned for the State  from the Union Health Minister recently. He said that he would continue to work for the people of his area and improve facilities for them being their servant.
Former Minister Th Puran Singh, Sain Abdul Rashid, Lovely Gupta, Masood Choudhary  PCC general secretary, Shakeel Mir, Moulvi Gulzar, Shafi Dar, Subhash Sharma  and others also spoke on the occasion.
