SRINAGAR, Dec 9: Senior IBPS Officer Shabir Mujahid today took over as Director Doordarshan Kendra Srinagar.
Prasar Bharti Broadcasting Corporation of India vide its order no 94/2013/S.III transferred Shabir Mujahid from DDK Jammu to Srinagar. Mujahid was given a warm welcome by officers and other staff members of the Kendra.
Mujahid is the only officer from Jammu and Kashmir who has covered all major National and International Sports and other important events.
Mujahid was part of the Doordarshan team that covered Beijing Olympics, Common Wealth Games in England and Australia. He has directed more than 150 serials, documentaries and other programmes during his services in the PBBCI.
