REASI, July 20: Several villages adjoining Tote-Sar in Bhamag tehsil were cut off after a portion of Reasi-Tote road was washed away in heavy rains, last night.
All kind of vehicular traffic was forced to be stopped as it was not possible for even two wheelers to pass on the damaged portion of the road. Around a dozen villages having approximately ten thousand population have been cut off from Reasi due to the road damage.
Even as PWD officials reached the spot soon after getting reports of the road damage, the traffic could not be restored as the repair work is likely to take at least two days.
