JAMMU, Dec 14: Delegations of Jammu Chamber of Commerce & Industry, All J&K Graduate Engineers Association (Civil) besides several other deputations today called on Advisor to Governor, Kewal Kumar Sharma and projected their issues and demands.
The delegation of CII, led by its President Rakesh Gupta, putforth the problems/issues being faced by the traders. The delegation demanded enhancement of e-way bill exemption from Rs 50000 to Rs 2 lakh, incentives being given to the industries, besides implementation of Delayed Payment Act, fast SGST refunds, pending payments of the SSI units and certain exemptions to the industries having 30 employees.
The members of the delegation expressed concern over the difficulties they are facing to provide 90% employment to the permanent residents of J&K as per a Government order in view of the non-availability of the specialized or skilled workers in the State.
GEASSOC delegation sought one-timeregularization, filling of vacant posts, immediate review of cadre etc.
Meanwhile, other delegations including deputation of PWD (R&B) casual labours, 10+2 Contractual Lecturers, Civil Secretariat Non-Gazetted Employees Union, Sakshar Bharat Mission and individuals called on the Advisor and sought early redress of the issues projected by them.
