JAMMU, May 5: To combat against COVID-19 crisis and provide assistance to frontline warriors and persons affected due to sudden lockdown, Chamzin Angmo daughter of Lobzang Nurboo, Joldan House, Zangsti Leh, currently present in Pune, today handed over a cheque of Rs 5 Lakhs to Commissioner/ Secretary Health Rigzin Samphel, through Naib Tehsildar Leh Atta-Ullah, towards LG Relief Fund of UT Ladakh.
A renowned contractor, Pyare Lal Sharma from Passerkot Inderwal Chhatroo of district Kishtwar contributed an amount of Rs rupees 1 lakh in the District Disaster Management Fund out of his personal savings. The cash was handed over to District Development Commissioner Kishtwar Rajinder Singh Tara via his Accounts Officer Pardeep Sen.
J&K PHE Clerical Employees Association donated a sum of Rs 51000 for PM CARES Fund. President of the Association, Munish Sharma, handed over the cheque of the donated amount to Ravinder Raina, J&K BJP president.
