DODA, Feb 17: Seven passengers received injuries, when the mini-bus they were traveling in, skidded off the road and turned turtle near Barhi Arnora area, here today.
The ill-fated vehicle bearing registration number JK08A-0149 was on its way to Doda from Pounda, when the driver failed to negotiate sharp curve and the mini-bus turned turtle near Barhi Arnora, resulting into injuries to seven passengers.
After getting information, police team and locals rushed to the spot and started rescue operation. All the injured persons were shifted to District Hospital, where their condition was stated to be stable, when reports last came in.
The injured persons have been identified as Mohammad Amin, son of Ali Mohammad of Beli, Imtiaz Ahmed, son of Mohammad Ramzan of Musnula Udhyanpur, Shamasdin, son of Ghulam Qadir of Defa Dhar, Suram Singh, son of Bharath Singh of Beli, Zakir Hussain, son of Mohammad Amin of Beli, Dinesh Singh, son of Sourabh Singh of Dhar Dachnan and Mohammad Ishaaq, son of Ghulam Hussain of Gwari Udhyanpur.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Doda police station and investigation started.
