JAMMU, Oct 10: With each passing day, there is rise in number of fresh cases of ‘Dengue’ in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and it is indeed of serious matter, said Aseem Gupta, vice-president Jammu and Kashmir BJP.
Expressing grave concern over the latest report that the positive cases of Dengue in Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory has jumped by 93, taking the total count so far this year to 2765, he said that situation is very alarming and need to be controlled through war footing measures at the earliest.
Aseem Gupta said that the UT Government should direct the Health Department as well as Municipal Corporations, committees and councils across Jammu and Kashmir to take all the measures to ensure recovery of the patients and check the spread of this dangerous mosquito born viral disease, which is posing threat to the precious human lives.
