JAMMU, June 15: J&K School Education Officers Association (SEOA) held a meeting under the presidentship of S Paramjit Singh, president of the Association here, today.
Addressing the meeting S Paramjit Singh said the concerned authorities have been already appraised that the process of submission of particulars of the officer regarding the regularization has been completed. Hence it is requested that the regularization be made at its earliest and others demands be also conceded.
The meeting said that all the Incharge officers i.e. Headmaster, Principal, ZEOs and equivalent be regularized immediately, officers who render their services during vacation be treated as non-vacational at par with their counterparts, grade of 9300-34800 with the grade pay 5400 be given to Headmasters at par with +2 Lecturers by removing anomaly, increase in promotional quota of Headmasters from 20% to 50 % while promoting them as Principal, change of nomenclature from Headmaster to Principal Secondary School, post of senior Headmaster be increased to 33% at par with +2 Lecturers and new posts of ZEPOs be sanctioned to fill up the vacant posts.
The School Education Officers Association has appealed Chief Minister and Minister for Education to personally intervene and resolve the issues confronting the School Education officers at an earliest.
Other present in the meeting were S Kulwant Singh, Sushila Sharma, Ram Pyari, Roop Lal, Kiran Rajput, Anita Gupta, Adarsh Dogra, Parmjeet Kumar, T R Sharma, Jai Kumar, Hem Raj, Teerath Singh, Rafiq Khan, Mohinder Raina, Balwan Singh, Kimmat Raj and Amril Singh.
