JAMMU, Mar 23: National Conference leader, Parvez Malik along with social and political activists joined Bharatiya Janata Party, (BJP) here at party Headquarter Trikuta Nagar, today.
Former DyCM, Kavinder Gupta, State general secretary (Org.), Ashok Kaul, State general secretary, Yudhvir Sethi, State incharge All Morchas, Munish Sharma, State incharge All Cells, S. Varinderjit Singh and other senior BJP leaders were also present during the joining programme, which was facilitated with the efforts of BJP Minority Wing State president, Mohammed Sadiq Khan.
Kavinder Gupta, lauded the decision of minority leaders to join BJP and said that minorities form the core strength of our society. Stressing that the minorities constitute a major chunk of population in the State, he said that the wholesome development of the region can only be achieved by the active participation of the minorities in the process. He said that the Government led by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, has taken major steps in the process for the total integration of minorities by working on ground to achieve their upliftment.
Ashok Kaul, while welcoming new members, focused that the very foundation of the organization is based on the “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikaas” and hence all the communities of the society are important for BJP. He asked all the minority members to work with full dedication for the upcoming elections.
Yudhvir Sethi, in his address, prompted the newly joined members to take up their job with sincerity so as to ensure that hands of PM Modi are strengthened for the welfare of public.
Sadiq Khan, complimented all the minority leaders for their active participation in the programme and assured the party senior leaders that the newly joined members will work with dedication for the organization.
Parvez Malik, said that he along with all his supporters, are of the firm view that only PM Modi can truly work for all the sections of the society and reaffirmed his stand to serve the society and work for the grand win of Modi led BJP in upcoming election.
Avtar Singh, Rubeena Akhtar, Waseem Dar, Sheikh Bashir, Harpal Singh Bali, Asad Malik, DK Bhan, Bakshi Singh and other senior leaders from BJP Minority Morcha were also present on the occasion.
