Send stranded labourers back to their homes: Sat

JAMMU, May 20: BJP Jammu West team led by former State president of the party and Ex MLA, Sat Sharma (CA) visited Jambu Lochan Hall in Ward 9 where stranded labour of other states including 49 people hailing from West Bengal, Bihar and Assam have been kept. Sharma was also accompanied by district president, Munish Khajuria, Mandal president, Raveesh Mengi, district general secretary, Adv Karan Sharma and Corporator, Ward 9 Suneet Raina.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that a fruitful visit was conducted with the team to know about the condition of stranded labourers of other States who have been kept in Jambu Lochan Hall of Jammu from last two months. Sharma said that though the administration is providing them every possible assistance still they are struck here from sometime and administration must make necessary arrangements as soon as possible to send them back to their respective States. He appealed J&K Government to execute the process of sending these people in a fast track way.
Munish Khajuria said that our team is also in regular touch with these people and many other stranded people and wherever any problem persists, “We are assisting them in every way possible”. He also appreciated the efforts of former MLA for seriously looking into the problems of needy in these tough times.
Raveesh and Suneet said that with the assistance of former MLA, we are helping the needy and thousands of families in Jammu West were provided with relief in one way or another so that the life of needy people everywhere can be placed back on track.
Asha Gupta, Radha Sharma, Sangeeta Verma, Kamini Gupta, Jyoti Bhat, Munish Sharma, Deepak Raj were also present.
