JAMMU, May 20: Former Dy CM, Kavinder Gupta along with BJP district president, Vinay Gupta, district general secretary met and honoured the CRPF warriors at CRPF 160-BN Headquarter Chatha, Jammu, who are performing their duties, in true spirits, to control the spread of Corona Virus during the lockdown period, by risking their lives for the sake of citizens.
Kavinder Gupta said all the CRPF personnel are assisting J&K police in maintenance of law and order and implementation of guidelines by MHA and J&K Government amid COVID-19 pandemic. Now the whole of India is following directions of Government to fight with the threat of Corona Virus and to stop the spread of Corona Virus infection by sitting at house. It would not have been possible without the constant vigil of warriors in Khakhi Uniforms, he added.
Gupta honoured Dr. S. L. Fotra, R.L Fimate, A.K. Rai, Ajay Kumar Singh and Commandant Joshi among others at Battalion Headquarter, who are at the forefront in this valiant battle for humanity.
Their undiluted courage, selflessness, determination has ensured that India remains in its track in its fight against Corona. Placing themselves at great risk they are ensuring that we remain safe, they are tirelessly and with deep dedication displaying an unshakable faith and conviction that Corona can be defeated and that India and its citizens will win with your selflessness, sacrifice, determination and grit the war against COVID-19.
Kavinder expressed his pleasures to recognize the services which are still running today by Healthcare professionals busy in saving lives, police for ensuring people to following the lockdown, media in bringing all the happenings of the country and the world related to Corona Virus to all while at home. Its’ our proud privilege to serve humanity, in this hour of need, and pray to come out as soon as possible, Gupta said.
Meanwhile Gupta along with BJP district team continued with the distribution of ration kits and other daily use items at Rohi Morh, Gadi Garh in Gandhi Nagar Constituency. Gupta on the occasion said that the Swayamsevaks are playing an important role as a support system to the Government agencies in distributing ration, masks, sanitizers, safety equipment, and most importantly, in sensitising the communities about the nature of the virus and explaining preventive measures.
