Sena protests against soaring prices of essential commodities

JAMMU, Oct 10: Shiv Sena J&K here today staged a protest demonstration against soaring prices of essential commodities.
The protest was led by Manish Sahni, president J&K Shiv Sena and the protesters raised slogans against the government and demanded relief.
Sahni told reporters that price of bread, cloth, house, health, education and everything is going high with each passing day.
“After flour, ghee, mustard oil, the prices of vegetables are also touching sky,” he maintained adding that the cost of cauliflower has gone up to Rs. 80 per kg while the cost of beans has reached Rs. 120 per kg.
Sahni said that the government should focus on providing relief to the common man.
Those who were present in the protest were Shiv Sena Women Wing president, Meenakshi Chhibber; general secretary, Vikas Bakshi; senior vice president, Balwant Singh; president Kamghar Wing, Raj Singh and others.
