KATRA, June 19: On the occasion of 57th foundation day of Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray), J&K unit of the Party here today organized a grand Havan-Yagya at Shani temple to pray for restoration of peace and prosperity, integrity, unity, happiness in the country and for the success of Shiv Sena chief Uddhav.
Addressing Party workers, Manish Sahni, president Shiv Sena J&K said Party founder Balasaheb Thackeray had a vision of hoisting Shiv Sena flag from Kashmir to Kanyakumari which the present Shiv Sena chief, Uddhav Thackeray is trying to make a reality.
He said that Shiv Sena chief has guided Shiv Sainiks to raise voice against inflation, unemployment, increasing violence against women etc.
After Havan-Yagya, Shiv Sainiks vowed to serve the society and religion.
Swami Rajeshwaranand Ji Maharaj, founder of Jai Deva Mission from Sant Samaj was also present in Havan-Yagya.
Shiv Sena Women Wing president, Meenakshi Chhibber; president Workers Wing, Raj Singh; Udhampur in-charge, Ashwini Prabhakar; president District Udhampur, Sanjeev Kumar; general secretaries-Anil Vijay, Mamta Devi, Vishal Verma, Mangu Ram, Imtiyaz Hussain and others were also present on the occasion.
