Sena expresses concern over exorbitant prices of sanitizers, masks

JAMMU, Mar 24: Shiv Sena Bala Saheb Thackeray J&K unit has demanded strict action against the sale of sanitizers and masks at exorbitant prices flouting the MRP norm.
In a handout, J&K Shiv Sena president, Manish Sahni has said that according to the prices fixed by the Government, the retail price of a 200 ml bottle of hand sanitizer should be less than Rs 100 while the price of a mask has been fixed at Rs 10.
He further said that even the prices of vegetables and fruits are on unexpected rise these days.
The Shiv Sena leader has appealed to the traders dealing with essential commodities to not to take advantage of the situation.
Sahni also demanded sanitizers, masks and other such safety devices for sanitary workers, doctors, police personnel and all those serving the people in this time of trouble.
