JAMMU, Oct 2: Hitting out at the BJP over the Hathras gangrape incident and dictatorial attitude of UP administration, Shiv Sena J&K unit questioned the silence maintained by the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi over the issue.
While addressing the media, State president of SS, Manish Sahni strongly condemned the dictatorial attitude of UP police administration for forcibly stopping the media and leaders to meet the family members of the victim and daughter of the nation. State president of Sena said that forcibly restraining media personnel under the garb of SIT, proves the hooliganism of the UP administration which openly raped the democracy.
Sahni said that such a dictatorship was never seen after independence. He said that efforts are being made to suppress the voice of the victim’s family and hide the truth. Sahni said that some leaders of the Shiv Sena UP unit were also forcibly stopped from sharing the grief of the victim’s family. He said that after all what is being attempted to intimidate the family. Media officials are being abused openly, which is being watched by the whole country, he added.
Sahni said that the silence of the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi is condemnable. During the press conference Mahila Wing president, Meenakshi Chhibber , working president, Ashwani Gupta, general secretary, Vikas Bakshi and secretary, Raj Singh were present.
