JAMMU, Nov 24: Citizens for Justice to the People of Jammu (CJTPJ) and Nami Dogri Sansthan (NMS) Youth Wing organized a seminar on Indus Water Treaty.
While speaking, SS Anand Lehar, senior advocate and prominent Urdu writer demanded from the Union government to give electricity on subsidized rates to the J&K due to the loss, which has occurred on account of Indus Water Treaty.
He also stressed upon the State government to move to the Supreme Court under Article 131 of the constitution for compelling the Punjab state to give due share of Ravi water to the state of J&K.
Earlier, President, Youth Wing NDS Nidhi Kaila presented the welcome address, while as in the end, Arjun Mohan, general secretary, Youth Wing, NDS presented vote of thanks.
