JAMMU, Aug 2: Government has reconstituted State Level Selection Committee for setting up Special Audit Unit under Mahatma Gandhi NREGA, 2005.
The committee, headed by the Chief Secretary, shall recommend the selection of Director, Social Audit and Social Audit Resource Persons and may recommend their termination in case of unsatisfactory performance.
Administrative Secretary of RDD and Panchayati Raj, representative of Ministry of Rural Development, Government India and representative of the Civil Society organization, to be nominated by the Social Welfare Department, shall be Members of the committee.
