SEED- a startup festival organized

JAMMU, Mar 19: SEED- brainchild of Adishree Singh and team AGENC in collaboration with FLO JKL, MIET, and Maharaja Hari Singh Foundation promoted startup culture in Jammu, today.
The startup festival was launched over 2-days as an outreach to the startup ecosystem from Jammu & Kashmir by Ritu Singh.
The festival started with a session at MIET, laying emphasis on pitching, networking, awards and participation of stakeholders from IIT, IIIM, IIM, JKEDI, SMVDU, SKUAST, BGBSU and MIET as well as women entrepreneurs from FLO.
Ritu Singh shared her blue sky vision of creating 50 unicorns by 2030 and emphasized how SEED will create a positive impact on the same.
Maharaja Hari Singh Foundation and Hari Niwas hosted “Sufi under the Stars” at the iconic Amar Mahal by Ustad Ma Zila Khan and her musicians.
She paid reverence to the Shakti force in a powerful rendition of the Devi stotras and her melody of Ghazals, Sufiana and curated songs for “SEED”, reviving the age old traditions of the royal household, MK Ajatshatru Singh at Ritu Singh along with their daughter Adishree Singh played impeccable hosts giving Jammu a taste of their royal patronages.
On day-2, a curated series of talks, workshops, panel discussions, film screenings by industry leaders and motivational speakers to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs, wherein guests of honour were Dr. Rashmi Singh Commissioner State Taxes, Prof. Manoj Gaur Director IIT Jammu, Vivek Sharma CIO IIM.
The list of speakers included Ritu Singh, Jyotika Jalani, Varuna Anand, Adishree Singh, Aditi Chopra, CA Ayush Sawhney, Nukul Mehra, Delight William and Suvidha Jain.
The panelists on the reverting discussions were Shristi Nagpal, Goumtesh Singh, Capt. Sachin Verma, Sonad Gupta, Ridhima Dewan, Vasudha Prabhakar, Mannat Kharbanda, Shreya Jain, Akshat Dhawan, Himani Kapoor and Harjot Singh.
A powerful face yoga session by Kanupriya Garg, while film screening “Girhein” by Sonalika Jain and a film on female feticide by Dr. Virender Sharma were also screened during the event.
The participants were students and faculty from IIT Jammu, IIM Jammu, MIET, GCW Gandhi Nagar, GCW Akhnoor, GCW Parade, alumni from DPS and others.
