JAMMU, Mar 19: Canara Bank Employees Union, State Committee Jammu & Kashmir has elected its new body.
Com Yogesh Kumar was unanimously elected as the State Secretary of Canara Bank Employees Unlon, State Committee Jammu & Kashmir while Com Nisar Ahmad Dar was elected as the Chairman.
Rahul Gupta was elected as Vice Chairman, Lucky Jamwal and Arshid Bashir as Assistant Secretaries and Jaskaran Singh as Treasurer. Kanab Padyar, Ravi Kumar, Yadvendra Singh, Shivani Gupta, Kewal Kumar and Sumit Khajuria were elected as State Committee members.
The new body was elected during 5th State Conference of the Union, held here today. The conference was presided over by Nisar Ahmad Dar. K Srikrishna, All India General Secretary, CBEU; M S Srinivasan, All India President, CBEU; Arun Kumar Gupta, General Secretary, Jammu Province Bank Employees Federation, All India Bank Employees Association Central Committee Member, Shamsher Singh, Deputy General Secretary, CBEU, Sanjeev Prasher, Deputy General Secretary, CBEU, M P Singh, All India Vice President CBEU, Naresh Verma, All India Central Committee member and Tara Singh, President, Jammu province Bank Employees Federation attended the conference as guests of honor.
Besides the union leadership, the conference was also attended by some of the top functionaries of Canara Bank, who included Rakesh Sehgal, Divisional Manager and Audi Reddy, Divisional Manager. Pabitra Kumar Das, Assistant General Manager, Regional Office Head, Jammu Regional Office, Canara Bank was chief guest on the occasion.
