SEECC deputation submits memo to Edu Minister

JAMMU, Apr 21: A deputation of School Education Employees Co-ordination Committee (SEECC) today met Education Minister, Naeem Akhter, at his official residence and presented him a memorandum of demands.
The deputation was headed by Amar Nath Thakur, chairman, Maheshwar Prashad, vice-chairman and Satish Dutta, general secretary of the committee. The charter of demands presented by the chairman to the Minister include demands like regularization of all incharge officers in the department including ReT and KGBS teachers, release of salary of RMSA, SSA, SBM on regular basis, DPC of all streams to Lecturer 10+2, repatriation of Masters/Lecturers working in other districts and in far flung areas of Jammu district, etc.
The Minister gave a patient hearing to the deputation and assured if they intimate him the known cases of corruption happening in the department he would definitely take strong action against the persons responsible for the malpractices. He also invited the committee members to Kashmir in May to have a detailed discussion.
