SEECC calls on Director School Education, submits memorandum of demands

JAMMU, May 12: School Education Employees Co-ordination Committee delegation, led by its State chairman, Amar Nath Thakur, called on Director School Education, Jammu, Anuradha Gupta and submitted her charter of demands.
In the charter of demands, the SEECC has sought recommendation for sanctioning of clerical and other posts in all 17 Educational Hanging Zones of Jammu division under NP scheme, conducting departmental enquiry into diverting the salary grant of 227 head teachers under SSA of Kathua district to other heads, implementing rational transparent transfer policy as framed by Education Department, transfer all those who have completed their stay in winter and far flung areas to their home towns, adjustment of surplus Lecturers and Masters, releasing list of all DPC of all cadres, creation of HRM cell in the Directorate for timely DPC, releasing of salary grant of all SSA head teachers and ReTs, clearing all cases of ReT teachers Grade IV at the earliest, clearing TBP cases of Masters, etc.
The Director gave a patient hearing to the delegation and said she was hopeful that DPC lists would be cleared on priority but nearly 11 hundred posts are less to absorb all after promotions of Masters as Lecturers and Headmasters. She also assured transparency in transfers and said that all their demands were under active consideration of the Directorate.
The delegation comprised of SEECC State president Satish Dutta, Har Pal Singh, Daleep Kumar, Angrez Singh, Rajesh Kumar and others.
