SEECC apprises Kabra of teaching community issues

JAMMU, Feb 12: A delegation of the Jammu Kashmir School Education Employees Coordination Committee called on Commissioner Secretary School Education Shaleen Kabra and apprised him of the demands as well as problems of the teaching community.
The delegation, led by SEECC Chairman and EJAC president Abdul Qayoom Wani, submitted a memorandum to Mr Kabra demanding regularization of Incharge School Education Officers, removal of pay anomalies of Masters, Headmasters and Clerical cadre, running grade to Plus 2 Lecturers, Non vocational status to Principals and Headmasters, earned leave benefit in favour of teaching community, change of nomenclature of Headmasters/Masters in Education Department, creation of Human Resources Management cell in DSE Jammu/Kashmir, release of salary of RMSA/SSA teachers, Masters and Headmasters, filling up of all vacant posts of Joint Directors, CEOs, DEPOs, ZEOs, ZEPOs, Lecturers, etc and inclusion of rendered service of migrant substitute in the service record.
The SEECC also urged the Commissioner Secretary to ask Director School Education Jammu/Kashmir to submit the cases of Incharge Officers for regularization through DPC/Cabinet decision.
The Commissioner Secretary gave a patient hearing to the delegation and assured that all the issues highlighted in the memorandum would be addressed in a time bound manner.
The delegation comprised of Manzoor Ahmad, Om Parkash Katoch, Amarnath Thakur, Manzoor Ahmad Khan, Dileep Kumar Dhar, Mohammad Afzal Bhat, Jamait Ali Aga, Bashir Ahmad Thakur, Talib Hussain and others.
