JAMMU, Dec 28: Chief Secretary Dr Arun Kumar Mehta in his capacity as the Chairperson State Executive committee (SEC) today ordered that deployment of School Education Department staff below the rank of Lecturers will again be deployed for COVID containment/mitigation duties.
“The deployment shall be for a period of three months only. Not more than one staff member from a single school shall be deployed. Deployment shall be of non-repetitive staff members,” Dr Mehta said.
Earlier, the deployment of Education Staff for COVID duties was discontinued. However, it has been resumed to further strengthen the existing COVID-19 containment measures.
