SRINAGAR, Sept 17: Secretary Information Technology (IT) Department, Dr. Piyush Singla, along-with State Head, J&K-CSC SPV, Faizan Maanzoor flagged off of CSC Digi Vans under Sewa Parv initiative, a fortnight-long awareness initiative being observed across the Union Territory from 17th September to 2nd October 2025.

The Sewa Parv national initiative aims to celebrate the spirit of Sewa (service) as the truest form of patriotism, contributing to the end goal of VIKSIT BHARAT.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Singla reiterated the Government’s commitment to providing seamless access to public services, particularly for citizens in rural and far-flung areas and endorsed need of awareness of Cyber Hygiene and Digital Literacy.

He emphasized that SEWA PARV embodies the vision of Digital India and reinforces the principle of “Service to Citizens” as the foundation of good governance.

The initiative is designed to strengthen last-mile service delivery, awareness of Digital Literacy, Cyber Hygiene, enhance digital inclusion, and create mass awareness about government welfare schemes.

The SEWA PARV campaign will culminate on 2nd October 2025, coinciding with the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, symbolizing the values of service, inclusivity, and empowerment.
