Srinagar, Oct 8: Security forces today launched search operation in Jalalabad area of Sopore in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district following inputs about presence of militants.
Sopore Police, 22 RR of army and CRPF cordoned off Jalalabad village following the inputs about the presence of militants. However, residents pelted stones on the security forces and militants managed to escape. The operation was later called off.
