SAMBA, Mar 3: A search operation was carried out today by the security forces (SF) in the border villages of Samba.
Special teams of J&K Police (SOG), Central Reserve Police Force, Army and Border Security Force personnel and officers took part in the search operation launched in the areas of Rajpura, Babbar Nala, Bai River, Sarathiya and Manguchak villages.
The search operation was carried out under the supervision of J&K Police DSP Operation Garu Ram Bhardwaj. While talking to reporters, the Officer said that Pakistan is always trying to disturb peace in J&K. He said time and again smuggled arms and drugs have been caught by the security forces from border areas.
“Further, many times tunnels have been found dug from Pakistan side for infiltration and thus, regular search operations are conducted by the security forces in unison to foil such attempts of Pakistan,” Bhardwaj said. He said the help of drones was also taken in the search operation, due to which the area was thoroughly explored even in dense bushes and river drains.
