KATHUA, Nov 16: Sub Divisional Magistrate Billawar, Rajeshwar Singh Charak reviewed preparations of Khwaja Peer Varun Devta annual bhandara at Ludera in Billawar tehsil today.
He informed that the annual Bhandara will be celebrated on December 17 and large number of devotees from different faith, religion and caste will visit this shrine from various parts of the State and other States as well.
SDM directed all the concerned officers to make necessary arrangements for this annual bhandara like uninterrupted power supply, drinking water, medical facility and ensuring security arrangements with proper traffic regulation.
He constituted langar, refreshment and reception committees and passed directions to Tehsildar Ramkot, SHO Billawar , AEE PHE , AEE PDD for spot inspection. He further directed TSO Billawar and Naib Tehsildar Gurha Kalyal to ensure quality and hygiene of food and other eatables during bhandara.
