KISHTWAR, Apr 17: The Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Chhatroo has ordered for one way movement on Kishtwar-Sinthan National Highway via Sinthan Top.
In an order in this regard, the SDM stated that following extensive consultations with SDM Kokernag and clearance from NHIDCL, one way traffic movement is allowed on alternate days on Kishtwar-Sinthan National Highway via Sinthan Top subject to fair weather conditions from tomorrow onwards.
As per details in this regard mentioned in the order timing for commuters going from Kishtwar to Anantnag is from 10 am to 2 pm (Thursday, Saturday, Monday and Wednesday) and they are supposed to cross Parna Check Post Chingam by this time.
However, the timing for the commuters coming from Anantnag to Kishtwar is from 10 am to 2 pm (Friday, Sunday and Tuesday) and they are supposed to cross Daksum Police Post by this time.
The order further stated that the one way traffic movement mentioned on alternate days shall be allowed subject to fair weather conditions and the commuters were appealed to plan their journey accordingly.
