JAMMU, Sept 26: A free mega ISM (Ayush) Medical Aid camp for the flood affected residents of Pallanwala Block Sub-Division Khour was inaugurated by Sub Divisional Magistrate, Khour, Rakesh Kumar Bhagat.
Sarpanch Tarsem Singh Panchyat Halqa H.P Sider, Sarpanch Naseeb Singh Panchyat Halqa Pangali, Sarpanch Sukhdev Raj Panchyat Halqa Sainth and Sarpanch Tarsem Singh Panchyat Halqa Derian were also present on the occasion.
The Camp was organized by the Director of Indian System Medicine (Ayush) in collaboration with PRIs of areas in which 1137 Patients were examined and treated by Doctors of various fields through Aurvedic, Yog, Uanani, Homeopathy, Pachkarma Therapy, Kshar-Sootra. The doctors also educated the people about water borne diseases.
During the camp, School Health Check-up was also conducted at Government High School H.P Sider and the students were provided free ISM (AYUSH) Medicines.
While addressing the gathering, SDM emphasized the relevance of ISM (AYUSH) Medicines for keeping the body & mind fit & fine in the present time.
