JAMMU, June 4: Sub Divisional Magistrate Akhnoor, Sunaina Sharma today conducted surprise inspection of various Government institutions in the far off areas of the sub division.
SDM visited GMS Akhnoor, GMS Palwan and GPS Mawa Krora and took stock of functioning of these institutions. She also checked Mid Day Meals, toilet, infrastructure requirements and other facilities.
It was noted that in few schools the electric connections were found snapped due to the nonpayment of electric bills. The school heads were instructed to take up the matter with the higher ups and restore the power supply so that students do not suffer any more in this scorching heat.
She laid emphasis on upkeep of the records, hygienic mid day meal, sanitation and punctuality.
Tehsildar Akhnoor Deepali accompanied the SDM during the visit.
