JAMMU, Dec 17: A camp for issuing Permanent Resident Certificates in favour of residents of tehsils Akhnoor, Jourian and Maira Mandrian of Akhnoor sub division was organised by Sub Divisional Magistrate Akhnoor, Sunaina Sharma in which 60 Permanent Resident Certificate files were cleared whereby, 210 PRCs were issued and proper guidance about the documents required for permanent resident certificate was given.
Further, she listened to the grievances of common people and solved most of them on the spot. She asserted that time and again, revenue officials have been issued strict instructions, not to demand any type of bribe in lieu of forwarding the PRCs files to the next higher offices.
She appealed the public, not to offer any type of bribe to any official for recording of statements in their files and other revenue related documents. She assured that the public services in respect of all the Tehsils shall be delivered as per Public Service Guarantee Act, 2011 and such type of public grievances redressal camps shall be organised in the future as well.
Kewal Krishan Sharma, Tehsildar Akhnoor and all the Naib Tehsildars of Sub Division Akhnoor were also present in the camp.
