UDHAMPUR, Sept 15: A middle aged Government school teacher sustained critical injuries when he was hit by a rashly driven Swift car on the National Highway at Narsu, near Samroli, here today.
The victim, identified as Sat Pal (52), son of Thakur Dass of Ind Gool, presently putting up near SBI, Udhampur, was rushed to Sub District Hospital Chenani where doctors referred him to DH Udhampur. However, keeping in view of multiple fractures and critical injuries, he was further referred to GMC&H Jammu.
According to the police reports, the victim was walking on the roadside when rashly driven Swift car, bearing registration number JK14C-0333, hit him and fled the scene.
Police has registered a case in this connection.
