POONCH, Feb 1: Three teachers were charge-sheeted after their school was found locked during surprise inspection by the team from the office of Chief Education Officer in Surankote area today.
An official spokesman said that on the directions of CEO Poonch, Abdul Hamid Fani and after obtaining specific inputs from the field, N M Suri, DEPO Poonch conducted a surprise visit to Govt Primary School, Hillan Kalai in Surankote and found the school closed at 12:30 pm.
All the three teachers namely Mushtaq Ahmed, already under suspension due to absent from duty, Iftikhar Ahmed and Renu Bala Sharma (ReT) were charge-sheeted. Moreover, Mid Day Meals was not cooked for which orders for deduction of one day salary of all the three teachers were passed to Zonal Education Officer Surankote.
In the meantime Iftikhar Ahmed teacher and Renu Bala, ReT deployed in the institution were directed to report to their actual place of posting with immediate effect.
