School Education officers seek CM’s intervention on their demands

JAMMU, Mar 22: The J&K School Education Officers Association has sought personal intervention of  the Chief Minister and Minister for Education to get the demands of School Education officers ( Headmaster cadre)  conceded by the  Government.
Talking to media persons, here today, the Association president Paramjit Singh highlighted the demands, which include regularization of Incharge officers, removal of pay anomaly, increase in promotion quota of Headmasters, change of nomenclature from Headmaster to Principal  Secondary School, increase in the post of Senior Headmasters, restoring the posts of  DEPOs and Dy CEOs to promoted Headmasters, etc.
He accused the high up of adopting  dilly dally tactics in considering their demands and said that the Chief Minister and Education Minister should personally look into the issues, raised by the Association.
“The Association apprised the concerned  higher up time and again regarding our genuine demands but nothing has been done so far,” he alleged and drew attention towards the series of  meetings with Government authorities in this regard.
The press conference was also attended by Kulwant Singh, Sushila Sharma, Ram Pyari, Prem Lal, Ram Rakha, Paramjit Kumar, Roop Lal, Mohinder Raina, Rafiq Khan, Romesh Chander, Himmat Rai, Suresh Dubey, Inderjit Singh, Subash Chander, Ashok Kumar Tikku, Darshan Lal, Rajinder Singh, Joginder Singh and Surinder Kumar.
