JAMMU, Sept 1: A meeting of School Education Officers Association was held under the chairmanship of S Paramjit Singh, president of the Association, for highlighting the long pending demands.
The meet impressed upon the Government to redress the grievances of School Education Officers by conceding their demands, which include their regularization, change the designation as Principal Secondary School instead of Headmaster, transparency in transfer of officers, release of salary of the Headmasters working against the post of RMSA, settling pension cases of School Education Officer at earliest and considering the post of Headmaster/Principal as non-vocational.
Those who addressed the meeting, included S Kulwant Singh, Paramjit Kumar, Ashok Sharma, Himmat Rai, Bachan Lal, Jasbir Kour, Chattar Singh, Anita Sharma, Salim Mohd, Ram Rakha, Kuldeep Langeh, Vinod Mantoo, Prem Paul, Davinder Singh, Sushila Sharma, Bimla Rajput and Swarm Gupta.
