JAMMU, Jan 2: All J&K School Education Officers Forum held a meeting under the chairmanship of Ab Qayoom Wani, State president, here today to discuss the burning issues of the department.
In the meeting, members of different districts participated and discussed in detail the problems of Joint Directors, In charge CEOs, Principals, ZEOs, Lecturers and Headmasters.
The meet resolved that the issues of incharge officers of School Education Department should be taken up with the Government forcefully so that all officers who have not been regularized till date, may get justice. Government should implement SRO 481 in letter and spirit to end the inchargism system once for all in the Education Department, the speakers stressed.
A Q Wani, in his address, said that the Forum would leave no stone unturned to get all the officers regularized and issue will be taken up with the new State Government vigorously. He informed that a State level convention of all education officers will be convened shortly to discuss the issue in detail.
The speakers also demanded that there should be Human Resource Management section in the Administrative Department in Directorate offices at Jammu and Srinagar and in all Chief Education Officers office on the pattern of PWD and other departments so that seniority of all cadres is maintained for the welfare of the employees of Education Department.
Those who spoke in the meeting, included Amaranth Thakur, O P Katoch, Dilip Kumar Dh?r, S Surjit Singh, Vijay Sharma, Muzzafar Hussain Qureshi, Ratan Lal, D Nath, Tara Mani, Mohd Din, Satish Kumar, Ashvini Sharma, and Sanjeev Kumar.
